See it live

One minute of Pop Rox.

Turn the sound up. This is what a Friday night with Ron and Toni feels like.

The duo

Two voices.
One big sound.

Driving guitar, lush keys, and the soulful, unexpected punch of a harmonica.

Pop Rox is built on lush vocal harmonies and a rich, multi-instrumental sound. Ron and Toni share front-person duties, trading vocal lines back and forth, and the onstage chemistry is undeniable. Their shows bring a nostalgic-yet-modern energy that keeps the floor moving and the room singing along from the very first chord.

For Ron, music has never been just a hobby. It's a lifelong calling.

He mastered multiple instruments early and spent the 1970s and '80s playing professionally on stages around the country.

Ron later built a full-time career as a Registered Nurse. His focus shifted to medicine, but he never stopped writing and recording songs.

When he retired from nursing, Ron returned to the stage full-time and became a familiar face across Southwest Florida as a solo act and a versatile player in local bands.

Today he's doing exactly what he was born to do: sharing his love of live music and lighting up rooms alongside Toni.

Before trading her desk for the stage, Toni worked in the dental field and as a secretary for a circuit court judge.

She took piano lessons growing up and kept playing as an adult, but her only audience was her family. Public performance wasn't on her radar.

Everything changed when she retired and moved from Michigan to Southwest Florida, and in 2022 she met Ron.

Stepping onto a public stage for the first time was a major milestone, and Toni embraced it completely. Now her voice, keys and harmonica lift the whole show.

For her, nothing beats looking out from the stage at a crowd that's smiling, dancing and lost in the music.
